Mommy is sorry, but she cannot update your blog AND keep you alive. It seems to be an either/or activity.
Okay, that's a slight exaggeration, but there are only so many hours in the day. One day you will understand this.
Until that someday, please accept my apologies that entire months of your lives go undocumented.
Love,
Mommy
For you grandparents and other faithful friends who read The Stevens Boys, all is well at our house. All is so well that we forget to stop and do things like, oh, update the boys's blog.
Fall was a lot of fun. Harvey was all in for Halloween this year. I'd say this was the first year that he really got it. Pete, however, did not get it. He didn't want to wear a costume, and we didn't see the point of letting him trick or treat. Maybe next year...!
Thanksgiving was a success. We did the Turkey Trot in Houston as a family, along with Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Beth, and Harvey was so proud to have finished the race. Mark did have to carry Harvey a couple times, but considering the fact that H is only 4 1/2, we are all pretty proud of his three-plus miles.
We're gearing up for Christmas, which is looking to be quite the extravaganza this year with celebrations beginning on December 18 and ending on the 26th, give or take. Harvey is, to the best of his ability, counting the days until the festivities begin! We had a lunch date today, and picked up the supplies for sugar cookie making. I'll include photos of the cookies in our Christmas recap post (which is guaranteed to arrive before March 1 - ha).
I'm attaching a photo album here, because the pictures can tell the story better than I can at this point. Funny, how if you wait almost three months, one blog post is NOT sufficient space for a recap. To save you time, we'll say it with photos instead.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas,
Blessings,
The Stevens Family
